My name is Dara, and I care about software.

I engage with it professionally, recreationally, and at times spiritually. I consider it a privilege to be able to develop software and at the risk of sounding mawkish or sentimental, I do feel a genuine sense of duty and responsibility towards this craft.

After four years of building large-scale distributed applications and managing their infrastructure, I realized that my favorite problems are related to the process of software development itself.

Today, my primary focus is on creating developer tools that simplify the complexity of building distributed systems and empower others to do their best work.
